Kelvin Lafond, MS, CSP, ASP, ASHM, is responsible for directing, developing and overseeing the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. He ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local, or engineering/construction-specific regulations.
Kelvin has expertise in safety management, planning, quality assurance, and providing sound improvement solutions. He previously worked as the safety officer in Yokosuka, Japan, and also served as a Command Safety and Quality Assurance Representative during his military career.
Kelvin earned his Bachelor of Science in liberal studies from Excelsior College, as well as a Master of Science in occupational health and safety from Columbia Southern University. He is a Certified Safety Professional and Associate Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and an Associate Safety and Health Manager certified by the Institute for Safety and Health Management. He has background working in military, federal, and corporate environments.
