Jen Waters, Vice President and Philadelphia Regional Manager at Urban Engineers, has been honored as a 2024 Trailblazer in Building & Infrastructure by City & State PA. This recognition celebrates her outstanding contributions to the engineering field and her leadership role in Urban Engineers' Philadelphia operations.
City & State PA's "Trailblazers in Building and Infrastructure" designation highlights professionals who have made significant advancements in construction, engineering, and urban development. This award is part of City & State PA's initiative to recognize the leaders and innovators shaping the future of infrastructure in Pennsylvania.
With over 20 years of experience, Jen is a seasoned registered Professional Engineer (PE) in six states and has extensive experience in environmental and sustainability projects. Her background includes providing sustainable solutions to complex infrastructure, residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and recreational property development and redevelopment projects. She has contributed to several key infrastructure projects that have benefited local communities, including the Schuylkill River Trail, PennDOT Rapid Bridge Replacement, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike 476 Widening projects. Jen’s expertise also spans business development, project performance, and quality control.
