Urban attended the annual Philadelphia March of Dimes Transportation Building and Construction (TB&C) Luncheon held at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. The annual Construction and Transportation Awards Luncheon is a unique event that honors industry companies, organizations, and individuals. The luncheon raised over $640,000 for the mission of the March of Dimes. 

Urban is a proud sponsor of the event, and several Urban employees volunteer their time and expertise to the organization. Urban's Senior Vice President, Matthew Marquardt, PE, is Chair of the March of Dimes Annual TB&C Awards Luncheon Executive Board. The board plans and hosts the annual event in Philadelphia that honors the leaders from both the public and private sectors of the transportation, building, and construction industries.

It is a privilege to be involved with an organization that is dedicated to ensuring that every baby has the best possible start in life. What could be more important,” Matt Marquardt.

Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide, and one million will die before their first birthday. March of Dimes funds research, education, advocacy, and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. In the TB&C event’s 30-year history, almost $10 million has been raised for the March of Dimes mission.
