When it comes to her work, Musah draws inspiration from a quote by Augustine “Og” Mandino, "Take the attitude of a student, never be too big to ask questions, never know too much to learn something new." This philosophy resonates deeply with Musah's commitment to lifelong learning. It’s what drives her to continue her professional development, most recently demonstrated by earning the SHRM Employing Abilities at Work Certification. Musah is actively pursuing additional certifications, including SHRM Veterans at Work and SHRM Getting Talent Back to Work Certifications.

Musah's journey in the recruitment industry began during freshman year at Union College in Schenectady, NY. Her passion for helping others achieve their personal and professional aspirations led her to Human Resources. While studying at Union College, Musah worked as a Student Manager for the Alumni Relations Office. In this role, she organized fundraisers through phonations to generate funds for the school. Recognizing a chance to help peers seeking conveniently accessible employment opportunities, Musah recruited numerous students to contribute to the cause.

In her new role as Corporate Recruiter, Musah plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization continues to thrive. As the face of Urban’s recruitment efforts, Musah helps shape the company by developing strategies, engaging with candidates, and contributing to talent acquisition and development within the Human Resources department.

When it comes to life at Urban, Musah describes the company's culture as one characterized by collaboration and open communication. Musah places a high value on the support and motivation provided by colleagues and is proud of the department's daily contributions, which significantly impact the company's overall operations.

Outside of her role at Urban, Musah's interests include traveling, camping, playing rugby, and spending plenty of quality time with family.
